Emotional Intelligence Assessment and Training
Emotional Intelligence is a set of competencies and skills for managing oneself and for managing relationships with others.
Often people with great technical skills find themselves in leadership positions where self- and people-management skills become important. PeopleSkills helps develop these skills by providing comprehensive assessments of Emotional Intelligence and recommending steps for personal development.
Assessment Tools:
In partnership with Multi-Health Systems we offer the following assessment tools:

EQ-360®
The EQ-360 on-line assessment offers an in-depth look at a leader's strengths and challenges in both Emotional and Social functioning. It captures feedback from the leader's manager, peers, clients, direct reports, and others. In addition to the written report, PeopleSkills provides two one and one-half hour debriefing sessions during which the leader identifies areas for development and crafts a skill-building plan. We also provide an optional one-hour briefing between the leader, his/her manager and the facilitator to report on the findings and the skill-building plan.

MSCEIT™
The Mayer-Salovey-Caruso Emotional Intelligence Test is an on-line assessment that measures the respondent's ability to perceive, use, understand, and regulate emotions. Based on scenarios typical of everyday life, the MSCEIT measures how well people perform tasks and solve emotional problems, rather than having them provide their own subjective assessment of their emotional skills. As with the EQ-360, the value in the MSCEIT emerges during the personalized debriefing sessions, and in the strategic planning that results.

BOEI
The Benchmark of Organizational Emotional Intelligence measures the level of emotional intelligence in your organization as a whole; and across departments, teams and divisions. It provides feedback on fifteen key areas, including:
- Job Happiness
- Work/Life Stress Management
- Organizational Cohesiveness
- Supervisory Leadership
- Diversity and Anger Management, and
- Organizational Responsiveness
The BOEI can provide three different reports on the organization as a whole, groups (departments, teams, different levels of management, etc.) and individuals. The BOEI is an excellent tool to use when determining targets for training and development initiatives.
